Visually impaired and blind persons

Our exhibitions are displayed in themed rooms on the first and second floor of the building. To have a better visitor experience, we recommend you to come with an accompanying person. Entry to the museum is free for blind people with their accompanying person.

To assist visually impaired people, tactile exhibits and information boards in Braille are displayed in the exhibition rooms. A tactile plan of the building is in the foyer of the museum. Tactile books help explain various subjects, such as internal organs, cells, sensory systems, men and women, and parasites. To use the tactile books, we ask you to inform us of your visit in advance by telephone +372 505 6862.
